Our story

Built by a veteran. Built for fans.

Charles “Charlie” Nunez founded Charlie’s Comic Con Events LLC on a simple idea: fans deserve a well-run, welcoming convention where comics, anime, trading cards and collectibles come together under one roof.

As a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran, Charlie brings a disciplined, mission-first approach to every event. The company is veteran-owned, has five years of building the brand behind it, and has produced more than 20 completed events, working with guests, vendors, sponsors and local venues.

Today the goal is larger: take the Charlie’s Comic Con experience to communities across the United States, with partners who share the same commitment to fans.
